after looking at the 007 whilst theres no electrics in i have noticed that
1 there is 1 shock thats softer than the other at the front
2 also there seems to be a differance in wishbone droop 1 side seems slightly lower than the other front and rear left side(same side as soft shock)
3 what is the easiest way to equal the chassis weight?
i will get these sorted and when i get the bits i will try again with the multidiff first

I would rebuild all the shocks, and do the droop whilst the shocks are detatched. Then with all your electrics in place the car on Balancing posts on a setup board and check the side to side balance.

i dont have balancing posts or a set up board i just the chopping board for the set up because its a 10mm glass plate its ideal because it wont buckle
the shocks were rebuilt when we had that open day because i had a problem with a rear one that had threaded so i decided to re do them all

glass plate is fine
shocks need to checked for consistancy at the time of build so make sure they all feel the same and have equal rebound and equal total length
use a hpi droop gauge and ensure that droop is what it needs to be (there is some setups on xray site that show droop settings for the kind of surface/tracks we use in the uk)
stef has allrerady mentioned about chassis tweak and shock tower tweak so check that as often as you can
chassis balance isnt as crucial as we are led to believe, for get the balancing posts for now and concentrate on the setup
